Deborah Gordon, MD

Deborah Gordon, M.D, is the founder and medical director of Northwest Wellness Center, LLC. She has had a lifelong interest in health and wellness, which she has incorporated into an integrative medical practice in southern Oregon for more than thirty years. She has a strong interest in finding the lifestyle choices that can prevent and reverse health problems, avoiding medications where possible and using them wisely where necessary. For the last decade, she has worked with a particular focus on cognitive health.

After earning a degree in English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley, she moved to the Northwest and began exploring a career in Health Care. She attended medical school at the University of California at San Francisco and then went on to the affiliated Family Practice Residency program in Santa Rosa, California, where she served as Chief Resident.

In addition to her medical practice, she “walks her talk,” enjoying a nature-filled country home where she and her wife host numerous pets and also raise chickens and various other animals to fill the freezer and grace the dinner table. She is a competitive rower, a sometimes cyclist and hiker, and the founder of the Siskiyou Challenge, a multi-sport relay event that benefits her favorite charity, Rogue Valley Farm to School.

Dr. Deborah Gordon has been my family doctor for almost a decade, and she has helped me understand what my mind and body need to be healthy. Dr. Deborah Gordon has also helped me to navigate a few health challenges and decisions. I am grateful for her brilliance, her ongoing curiosity, and her compassion
